A virtual Martlet Ensemble

Members of the Martlet EnsembleThe loss of live music has been one of the many consequences of lockdown. With that in mind, The Martlet Ensemble has put together a remote performance of one of Haydn鈥檚 most loved string quartets; Op 33, no 5, affectionately known as the 鈥淗ow do you do鈥 quartet. After much work, rehearsal and fighting with technology, this is the result, expertly edited by Chris Murphy.

We are enormously grateful to our professional musicians, Caroline Balding, Rose Redgrave and Richard Tunnicliffe, and especially to our own Elsa Shah (second-year music student) for such wonderful playing. We hope to see you in Univ for live concerts as soon as the loosening of restrictions allow.
