Fred Harrison (1970, PPE), Research Director of the London-based Land Research Trust, is to publish his magnum opus, , in 2025. His first book, The Power in the Land (1983), predicted the economic crisis of 1992.J

Professor Mortimer Sellers (1980, Law) published the first full printed edition of the , edited with Professor Stephan Kirste (Springer, 2024).
Lucy Steeds (2015, World Literatures in English) published her debut novel (John Murray Press, January 2025) in the UK, US, Australia and New Zealand, and has so far been translated into Spanish and German. The book was longlisted for the 2025 Women’s Prize for Fiction and was a Radio 4 Book at Bedtime in April 2025. She is currently working on her second novel.
