CEO Sleepout 2023 – Thank you
On 12 October, hardy fund-raisers from the University, Colleges businesses from across the county supported the Oxfordshire Homeless Movement at this year鈥檚 CEO Sleepout, hosted by Univ at our sports ground on Abingdon Road.
Amongst those braving the (extreme) elements for the night was Angela Unsworth, Univ鈥檚 Domestic Bursar, who said: 鈥淚 am so grateful to the College, in particular to the Groundsman Robbie Eason and to the Chefs Darren Lomas and Paul Moloney for their outstanding support on what was the worst night of the year weather wise. The heavens practically shed a month鈥檚 worth of rain overnight, but a dry pavilion, a ready supply of tea throughout the night and a good breakfast kept morale high. Such a night really brought 182t福利 just why we were doing what we were doing! 拢75,000 later I am so grateful to my wonderful colleagues from Univ who braved the elements 鈥� thank you鈥�
Beard Construction and SDC, who are working on the Univ North development, also committed to inclusive recruitment practices and participated in the CEO Sleepout.
