Connecting the dots
(2016, DPhil Industrially Focused Mathematical Modelling) has won the Graham-Hoare Prize from IMA for his article on “Connecting the Dots with Pick’s Theorem”, published in the December issue of聽Mathematics Today.
Kristian’s DPhil research examines the subject “Modelling Removal of Sulphur Dioxide from Flue Gas”. He has also taught “Fluids and Waves” at Univ as part of the undergraduate Mathematics course.
Last year he was awarded聽 from the IMA for his article on 鈥淓xploring Steiner Chains with M枚bius Transformations鈥, which was published in Mathematics Today magazine.
