Funding awarded from the Wolfson Foundation

Univ has been awarded up to 拢230,000 from the Wolfson Foundation. This generous support will go towards the cost of study facilities within the new Univ North development, a state-of-the-art, sustainable, intergenerational education and living space in North Oxford.
The Wolfson Foundation, an independent charity with a focus on research and education, supports civil society by investing in excellent projects in science, health, heritage, humanities and the arts.
The Univ North site is located about a mile from Univ鈥檚 medieval properties on High Street, Oxford. The development will expand Univ鈥檚 accommodation and offering with up to 150 new en-suite study bedrooms, study, meeting and lecture spaces.

The award goes towards the provision of collaborative study spaces within the development.聽 Univ North will also comprise a nursery with outdoor space for up to 54 children, a caf茅, and a gym. Our enhanced collegiate community in North Oxford will benefit from the development with its landscaped gardens, rejuvenated heritage orchards and an environment focused on wellbeing, sustainability and shared purpose.
