Mesothelioma is an aggressive malignancy and currently there are not available biomarker guided treatments. The study established and characterised a panel of patient derived mesothelioma cell lines. It is a faithful translational model of the disease and could be used to develop guided treatments.
Dr Nikolaos I. Kanellakis has been appointed as a Stipendiary Lecturer in Pathology. He is currently a 鈥巔ostdoctoral researcher in the 鈥嶯uffield Department of Medicine. His research focuses on pleural malignancies and diseases.
