Time 100 Best Fantasy Books
Two of Rebecca Kuang’s (2019, MSc Contemporary Chinese Studies) books have been included on Time magazine’s list of the 100 best fantasy books of all time.聽The Poppy War聽补苍诲听The Dragon Republic,聽the first two instalments of a trilogy.

Rebecca is currently pursuing a PhD in East Asian Languages and Literatures at Yale. She previously studied at Georgetown University and the University of Cambridge. She won the Compton Crook Award and the Crawford Award, and was a finalist for the Nebula, Locus, Campbell, and World Fantasy Awards.
The final instalment of The Poppy War trilogy, The Burning God, is out on 26 November. It was recently named a Goodreads Choice nominee.
